Best beaches around Cagliari

If you're staying in Cagliari, the capital of Sardinia, you’ll be delighted to know that its main beach, Il Poetto, is considered one of the most stunning city beaches in Europe. Stretching over 8 km of fine white sand, Poetto offers crystal-clear waters on most days (though the occasional wind may stir things up!). The beach is lined with charming kiosks every few kilometers, open from breakfast until late at night, where you can enjoy fresh seafood, cocktails, and local delicacies. A long promenade runs alongside the shore, perfect for walking, jogging, or cycling while taking in breathtaking sea views.
